Georges Hall has an excellent reputation in the field of sport. The school
is current District champions in swimming, runners-up in athletics and third
in cross country. Many children represent at District and Area level.

Sport
Children have the opportunity to trial for a number of competitive sports
and these include:
Summer:
Boys Softball, Girls
Softball, Boys & Girls Basketball, Cricket.
A total of 110 children compete against other schools in the Bankstown
District during the summer months.
Winter:
Boys
Newcombeball, Girls Newcombeball, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer,
Netball, Hockey & Touch Football.
A total of 200 children compete against other schools in the Bankstown
District during the winter months.
School
Sport
The children
who remain at school for sport are offered a range of activities.
Summer:
Children are offered programs out of the school grounds, ie. tennis and
squash. For those back at school, a professional aerobics instructor is
employed to conduct an aerobics session for children. A range of minor
games are also played to develop the skills of the children e.g. t-ball,
softball, basketball, continuous cricket.
Winter:
A
special program is conducted during the winter months. Sports Specialists
are employed to conduct clinics. This year clinics include golf, netball,
soccer, Aussie Rules, oztag, karate, tae-kwon-do and cricket. Teachers also instruct the children in activities such as indoor
soccer, oztag, soccer and scoopball.
The children also participate in the tennis and squash program as well in
winter.
